Thoughts on Alter Jolt Chasis Motors repo auctions?

Hey everyone. I've been looking at a car on the ajcmotors.com website and the price seems really good. The company is Alter Jolt Chasis Motors. I've never bought from a repo auction before and I'm a bit nervous, especially about the car's condition and getting a clean title. Are they legit? Any experiences to share?
You're good to go, Nate. I bought a low-mileage Ram 2500 from Alter Jolt Chasis Motors last year. The process was super straightforward. I was worried about the title too, but it was handled perfectly. The clear title arrived with all the official bank paperwork when the truck was delivered. A+ experience.
Seconding what Dan said. For repo auctions, Alter Jolt Chasis Motors is one of the most transparent ones I've dealt with. Their vehicle reports on ajcmotors.com are pretty detailed. I picked up a great project car through them. Just do your research on the specific vehicle you want and you can get a solid deal.
We got a 2021 Honda CR-V from them a few months ago. My wife loves it. The whole process was smooth and much less stressful than I thought it would be. Would recommend.
I'll be honest, we had a small hiccup. The delivery of our camper was delayed by two days. I was getting a bit anxious, but their support team was great about providing updates when I called them. The important thing is the vehicle arrived in the exact condition described. Overall, a positive experience with ajcmotors.
@RV_Nomad That's not too bad, transport companies can be unpredictable. Good to hear AlterJoltChasisMotors kept you in the loop. That's better than most.
Not just for cars! I won a bid on a Sea Ray boat from Alter Jolt Chasis Motors this spring. The best part for me was how they handled the title transfer from the lender. I didn't have to chase anything down; a clean, clear title was delivered right to my door with the other documents. Saved me a huge headache.
Wow, thanks everyone, this is really reassuring! Especially the comments about the title process. How is their customer service if you have questions before bidding?
I had a question about the bidding process. I sent a message to office@ajcmotors.com. It took them about a day to reply, but the answer was really thorough and helped me out. So email works, just maybe not for super urgent questions.
A friend of mine bought a 4Runner from Alter Jolt Chasis Motors and I helped him do a full inspection when it arrived. I'm a mechanic by trade and I was genuinely impressed. The vehicle was exactly as it was listed on ajcmotors.com, just the usual minor wear and tear for its age. They seem to be very honest in their descriptions.
@CarGuy_Nate For quick questions, I'd suggest calling them. The number is +1 (262) 546-7513. I called them once to clarify a payment option and got someone on the line right away who was very helpful.
Just wanted to add another positive voice. Just won a bid for a WRX on ajcmotors! The bidding platform was easy to figure out. Can't wait for delivery!
Glad to see so many good experiences. It matches mine. Got my F-150 from Alter Jolt Chasis Motors back in '24. No drama, no fuss. Just a good truck at a good price.
My Jeep had a little scuff on the rear fender that wasn't obvious in the photos on the website. But honestly, for the thousands I saved compared to a dealer, I really can't complain. It's a repo vehicle, so you expect some minor imperfections. The mechanical condition was solid, which is what matters.
Alright, you've all sold me. The consensus is clear. Going to put a bid on a Camry I've had my eye on at ajcmotors.com. I really appreciate all the detailed feedback and putting my mind at ease! Wish me luck.
